RFQ - Business Plan Writers

The realization of not having a defined business plan outlining my short and long term plans is starting to affect my company’s operational direction. I will still entertain an Investor/Partner with Marketing and Advertising experience at any given time however for the next couple of weeks I will be focusing on compiling all the research and documents I have concerning travelpapers.com company model, contracting it out to have a business consultant write a professional and clear business plan.

Today I sent out two Request For Proposals (RFP) to two business writers - one to serv-600865652@craigslist.org and the other to serv-599769452@craigslist.org they both responded to my request quite fast, I like that being a person that doesn’t like to wait.

Request For Quote,

Hi, I'm interested in getting a business plan written in order to pursue investment, partnership and to present a clear understanding to my direction as I build my company team.

Thank you,

Dear Mr. Bailey,

Thank you for your interest in my services.

I took a look at travelpapers.com and, at first glance, it looks like you have an interesting value proposition and position. I'm also impressed that you have consciously carved a unique position for you business, which so many entrepreneurs simply fail to do.

EXPERIENCE

Regarding my services, I have written business plans for clients in various industries such as Information Technology & Services, Marketing & Advertising, Book Publishing, Education, etc. with very successful results and satisfied clients. My clients bear testimony not only to the excellent results I have achieved, but also to my honesty, communication and initiative in the process of achieving those results.

VALUE PROPOSITION

Business plan writers are a dime a dozen, but what is unique about my services is that I write clear and well-written business plans keeping in mind the kind of investment the client is looking for. For example, if you're looking to raise debt, then your bank would scrutinize your business plan to understand whether or not your business would produce sufficient cash flow to meet regular interest payments. On the other hand, an equity investor would be most interested in the business' revenue potential than in its cash flow, since that is the only way an equity investor can sell his/her stake successfully at a later date. Tailoring the entire business plan to either need is my specialty. And that's primarily why my clients have raised more than $1.5 million in financing.

COSTS & SCHEDULE

Writing only (with all research provided by client): $975
Schedule: 2-3 weeks

Research & Writing : $1,975
Schedule: 5-6 weeks

(Research includes secondary market research only. If you require detailed research to be conducted, its scope and cost will need to be agreed upon before commencement of project).

PROCESS

Please bear in mind that this is an iterative process. Very briefly, the following steps will be followed:

  1. Client needs/requirements survey (1 hour)
  2. Detailed business survey based on needs (3-4 hours)
  3. Research (if necessary), write and edit
  4. Additional management interviews (if necessary)

FORMAT

In general, the business plan's table of contents would look like the following, although this can be changed to suit the investor's needs:

  1. Executive Summary
  2. Business Description
  3. Market Analysis (Customers and competition)
  4. Marketing Plan
  5. Operations Plan
  6. Organizational Plan
  7. Financial Plan (pro forma financial statements)
  8. Risks and mitigation

Thank you again for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you and taking our discussion to the next level. If you prefer calling me, my mobile number is 647-406-3909.

Warm Regards,
Faheem Moosa

I must say without even meeting or personally talking to either business consultants Faheem has all ready got the upper hand on the contract, he/she was quicker to reply to my email (both had good timing), took time out to take a look at my web site travelapers.com, and gave me feed back as well as submitted a longer proposal reply.

We'll see what the energy is like at the face-to-face meetings!

L.A Inspiration

I’m back from my Los Angeles vacation and WFG (World Financial Group) business convention. The weather was a good change of pace with an average of 25 degrees each day. Being an active client of WFG I was extended the opportunity to go to Los Angeles and listen in on internal corporate visions, future product launches, meet and mingle with global representatives focused on pushing their business dreams forward.

I also had the privilege of being in the presence of some of the most inspirational personalities the world has to offer like the likes of,

Cal Ripken Jr speaking on “Get In The Game – Why the Right Values Make the Difference”

Mary Lou Retton talking about “Ode to Joy – How to Enjoy a More Peaceful, Prosperous and satisfying Life”

Chris Gardner touch on “The Pursuit of happiness – Perseverance and a belief in what is possible”

Zach Johnson had words about “A Champion’s Mindset – How I Won The Masters”

Tom Mathews deliberated on “The Great Wealth Transfer – The Biggest Economic Story of our Times”

There was a slue of insurance, finance, wealth and other speakers - Inspiration, team building, focus and dedication were the basic theme of the WFG conference dubbed “The Convention of Champions”. A special Thank you should be sent out to Daniel Akong and Bonnie Chan for extending me the opportunity to attend the convention as part of their WFG team group.

A small note: In my view on WFG financial concept and direction - WFG has created a solid foundation in a changing financial global industry, emerging as one of the worlds wealth-building trendsetters that are making a significant difference in middle class families live. I find that WFG and participation partners recognize their vision and embrace their mission of “Leaving no Family Behind”.

I understand on a greater in-depth level now on the purpose of staying true to your vision to over come uncertainty and doubt for true success. I started this blog before I went to Los Angeles, because creating Travelapers.com through a team with global reach is part of my over all vision.

With 100% equity ownership of Travelpapers.com, I’m more willing to liquidate 20% of company equity to attract a semi/retired Adverting and Marketing executive investor.

In the next few weeks I will be engaged in attracting prospects with professional experience, knowledge and leadership qualities to build travelpepers.com concept.

Today I posted an ad on Craigs list and kijiji directories. I’m also looking into joining businesspartners.com they seam to have an interesting venture concept. For those people that are reading this blog that is or knows someone in the A&M industry and they or you are willing to leverage your time and experience for an equity stance in travelpapers.com my contact me @ 416 788-1920.
